CONCEPTUAL ARTS NETWORK ANNOUNCES 1ST ANNUAL
THEORIZE NEW YORK
INTERNATIONAL ARTIST-RUN ART FAIR
TO BE HELD ARMORY ART WEEK 8—12 MARCH 2012.
The non-profit international artist-run organization, Conceptual Arts Network, is pleased to announce the first ever “Theorize This – New York”, an international artist-run art fair to be held at the Wyndham Garden Inn, 37 W 24th St., NY 10018.
In the tradition of the original Grammercy Hotel Art Fair, The Wyndam Garden Inn will be organized into numerous small artist-run galleries 8—12 March 2012. Serving as a satellite of the Armory Show, much like the satellite fairs of ArtMiami, “Theorize This” allows attendees to engage one-on-one with artists in an intimate venue.
Theorize New York: Impossible to Understand was originally conceptualized and organized by three artists, Eric Ginsburg, David Pollack and Marina Reiter
“We are very excited to be able to bring this new art fair concept to the artist community,” said David Pollack of Theorize New York. “Theorize gives artists the opportunity to present their work to collectors and galleries directly and engage in an open dialogue. It’s all about giving the artists exposure, a chance to be seen and heard.”
The art fair will be open daily 12pm -10pm with the Grand Opening scheduled for Thursday, March 8th (5pm Exhibition opens; 6pm -10pm Opening Party).
